Bocce

Bocce, a game with history

Bocce, a game that dates back to the ancient Roman Empire, has become a favorite recreational pastime in active adult communities across the U.S. In addition to being fun to play, bocce offers the benefits of social interaction, light movement, and healthy competition.

Carolina Preserve has four regulation-length turf bocce courts with plenty of seating and shaded areas. Residents can enjoy the courts on their own, with friends, or by joining our bocce club on Thursdays. You can also participate in competitions planned throughout the year, such as the Wake County Senior Games, which Carolina Preserve has hosted for the last five years. Bocce is a great opportunity to meet new people, develop new skills, and most importantly, have fun.
